Been coming here for 9 years and love the bagels themselves. Unique and high quality; different from NY style. I bring bags of... them to friends out of state. Worth a try for sure. Reason for 3 stars: ? It?s weird that you can?t get a bagel cut or toasted(maybe this feels wrong because staff now serves the bagels, whereas previously customers served themselves), and it?s difficultto do it yourself with a small plastic knife. Kind of messes with the texture of the bagel. It seems like a small thing, but itreally does make the experience unpleasant. ? Since the renovation, it feels disorienting to enter the store and buy something.It?s so popular and busy that staff isn?t always able to be attentive to every customer?which isn?t a huge deal, but maybesomething like better signage would help folks understand what the ordering system is and to set expectations for someonewalking in.
