Im a local who goes to le chef often. A new bartender (who is older & bald) was so rude!! My friend and I were appalled how... unprofessional he was toward us. His attitude and service was horrendous! We work in the service industry and would never treatsomeone this way ???? It's been a few years since I had the chance to visit South Hampton. Le Chef has always been my go to restaurant and they did... not fail to disappoint. I had the braised short ribs and they were super tender and off the bone they way ribs should be. Thesoup of the day which was broccoli was delicious too. My partner enjoyed their signature duck dish and tuna tacos. Glad theywere able to make the tacos GF for us both to be able to eat. The service was good too. We both suffer from different foodallergies (gluten, dairy, tree nuts, and raw eggs) and they were able to accommodate us which isn't easy. Read more
Our experience was great, in large part due to our bartender Patrick. We sat at the bar and enjoyed some drinks, calamari salad... and steak tacos. All were very good. Recommend. Read more
