It may be the caffeine from the free coffee refills talking, but I have nothing bad to say about Mauro's Village Cafe! It has... everything you would ever want from an American dinner. With all day breakfast, wonderful food, lovely servers, and anatmosphere that makes it feel like you've been eating there all your life, you'll leave feeling like you just ate at yourgrandparents house. Does it have fancy food, vegan options, or upscale dinning? No, but you don't go to a small dinner for thosethings. I've been going to Mauro's for about 3 years and it never disappointed. I moved out of state 6 months ago and recently came... back to see my kids. I invited my two oldest to see if the place was still awesome, and it was! Friendly staff and great food!My daughter ordered the breakfast burrito and I got the village delight. Two thumbs up! I?m not exaggerating when I say, this is one of the best breakfasts I?ve ever had. I used to think Boston diner?s had better... breakfast places, but Mauro?s Village Cafe beats the Boston places I?ve eaten at. I had the breakfast skillet ( delicious ,only con was Potatoes were on the saltier side for my taste). My cinnamon raisin toast was hands down the best one I?ve everhad. my mom and aunt got the traditional eggs bacon and toast, they too said it was the best they?ve ever had. I then got afresh fruits waffle, delicious ( I will say, if they make the waffle crispier versus Doughery , it would be better too) , we toogot the fruit salad bowl, the fruits were fresh, sweet. The waiter was PHENOMENAL. He spoke Portuguese to my aunt and mom andit was a surprise. All in all: I give this place an 11/10.
