My entire experience here was wonderful. I checked them out online before giving them a try. I had high expectations from the... menu, Instagram, and positive reviews. Once we arrived I was so impressed with service, not only from our amazing server David,but the entire staff. Truly blown away by the professionalism and attentiveness. We were celebrating a birthday & Lucas made itone well never forget. For food we started off with the special spooky cocktails, oysters, oyster shooters, and escargot. Forour meals we ordered the rack of venison and the two lobster tails. Dessert was a delicious chocolate tort. Outstanding. Great fresh seafood, loved the oysters! Clean and nice atmosphere. Waitstaff was attention, friendly and professional. So... overall a great place, but the dinner we order was lacking flavor. The scallops were cooked well, it?s just the meal had littleto no taste. Not sure if it?s just the meal I ordered, but I would think about adding more flavor to your scallops and risottomeal. I would go back because everything else was great. Maybe next time I?ll try another dinner and hopefully will be better.Just giving my honest opinion, but in no way is this a bad place just trying to help out or stop someone from ordering somethingthey won?t like for 35 dollars. First timer. My mom and I travel the country looking for world class food experiences. Best restaurant experience we've had in... quite a while. The food was plated nicely, the atmosphere was modern and cozy, and every dish we had was better than the next.We were at the bar and Mark and Chrissy were amazing. Mark in particular is funny and he understands how to listen to acustomer's needs. We couldn't be happier with the service. Ask for the flourless chocolate cake! Read more

I had always heard great things about Lucas Local, but my visit exceeded my expectations! The menu had a great variety for... seafood lovers, and was sure to include good options for meat eaters as well. We're pretty new to trying oysters, but we knew wecouldn't pass up the opportunity to have some while we were here because they were so fresh. Their special that night of oysterswith pico de gallo, cilantro, and apples were the best oysters we've ever had! The quahog casino was fantastic, and I loved mylinguine and clams, while my fiancé enjoyed his scallops, which came with a puréed squash and made a perfect dish for thefall. We ended the night with a flourless chocolate cake for dessert, which was great too! Our server was attentive andfriendly, and we were seated next to the oyster bar, where we talked to the friendly people behind the counter as well. Thespace was inviting, and had some really nice decorations that added to the restaurant's character. We will be back for sure! Read more
