I rarely leave reviews but my experience definitely warranted these extra couple of minutes. I chose to go this location versus... the Bloomfield one where I live for convenience. I read the reviews here and saw the consistent post about poor customerservice; however, it was on my route to my next destination. I walked in to a customer complaining to what appeared to be themanager. I?m not sure why the customer was so upset but she appeared visibly disturbed. The manager was being loud and abrasivewith the customer. She didn?t seem intent on appeasing the customer?s needs. The other staff stood around watching the showwhile 6 other ?incoming? guest stood unserved. We were just spectators to this disturbance and we had to wait until the showdownwas over, I thought that was extremely inappropriate. Once handed my meal, I immediately looked at my food and there were thesetiny crumbles of chicken pieces they were fried so hard that they looked like pork skins. I inquired about it assuming they madea mistake because other locations actually give chicken bites of substance. Loudly the manager informed me that?s how they do itthere. I explained to her that these can?t count towards the 10 bites, I paid for ($20). I eat often at chicken shack and neverhave received a plate with scraps on it. I ultimately left out because I?m not going back and forth with people who don?t havethe same competencies as I, but I?ll never return they are cutting portion sizes and charging double at this location. My mealwas dried out little chips of chicken for $20! If you want to feel you get your moneys worth go to other locations. Thislocation takes the normal one bite size and splits it in half. So your 10 piece is really a 5 piece elsewhere. Read more
I just used the Southfield, MI Chicken Shack to cater an office event for 35 people. I cannot tell you how awesome they were to... work with and how delicious their food was!!! I literally called them that morning and they were able to fill my order in timefor lunch with no issues whatsoever. They do not deliver but when I showed up to pick up my catering order, the food was hot,the order was correct and they helped me get it to my car. I ordered trays of BBQ Chicken Tenders, BBQ Chicken Wings, RegularChicken Wings, Potatoes, and Cole Slaw. I highly recommend them and will certainly use them again! Thanks!! Read more
Very disappointed the last time I went. I asked that my chicken be cooked golden brown, like the picture shows on the menu. They... put the golden brown chicken on top and under that chicken was the over cooked chicken. That's it, I will be going back toPopeyes. Read more
Chicken shack is my thing. I went to this location 1 time. Never again. Have also got chicken from there for a friend and she... stated the chicken was not crispy. Same thing happened with my order. Definitely driving further (Livonia) to make sure mychicken will be crispy like it should be. Read more
