I thought of giving this place a try so I drove 50 miles to try their food. It was empty with nobody except myself, my sister... and a couple. Food wasn't fresh and it seems it was hated before they serve it specially the chicken. The serving lady wasn'tvery friendly except with few fake smiles. Very over-priced compared to the portion that wad served to us. No way I would goagain or even recommend it to any of my large family members or friends who like Ehtiopean food. Few years ago I tried anotherEthipean food in Down Ann arbor and it was much better both, food taste, freshness & the service. Read more

Traditional and authentic Ethiopian cuisine. Great for vegetarian and gluten free options. Bonus, fresh pressed juices! You... won't regret it! Food cooked with love. Service can be slow depending on traffic in store, but so worth it. Read more

We love this place! Food and service is amazing. We were so sad while it was closed but we made sure to attend the grand... opening. It was as good as ever. We both love B1 and C3 on our meal for two. The bread is to die for. You can't go wrong here.Everything is delicious! Read more

TLDR: The food is authentic and delicious. The service is phenomenal. We missed this place while it was closed for renovations.... We fell in love with it three years ago when we were on a weekend trip to Cranbrook. The staff are the nicest people ever. Sokind and welcoming. Service is always great. They check in on you multiple times and have never been rude. They are happy toserve anyone with a smile. The food, wow. The bread is so good and always fresh, forgive me for not remembering the name of it.It's one of my favorite things here. We get the meat combo for two and love the B1 berbere beef and the C3 chicken with potatoesas well as three veggies sides and the Katengna appetizer (berbere bread). It's not TOO spicy but all of the food has at leastsome kick to it. I will warn you that you won't be offered silverware. Don't worry, you won't need it. But if you request itthey have it. They will also offer a hot towel before and after the meal to clean your hands. They have a bar here that canmake their signature cocktails and smoothies. I had the one with rum and ginger beer. It was delicious. They weren't able tomake a Manhattan (my normal drink) because they only serve drinks on their list. It's not a small list and looked like they hadsomething for everyone. Try this place if you want something different that feels like comfort food. Try this place if serviceand atmosphere is important to you. You'll love it! Read more
