Food is good here. I usually get the ribs when I go here. The half rotisserie chicken also a good bet.
Drove 30 mins to try this place. Fried chicken is one of my favorite things to eat. Cooked to order, so call ahead or be... prepared to wait. Had a steady flow of ppl in and out. As soon as I walked in I smelled a little stench of bad meat. Received myfood, and chicken tasted how it smelled. It wasn't fresh, going bad. If you know that smell of bad chicken, then u know udefinitely don't want to eat it. I was mad, I wanted to eat it so bad. Crunch was on point. Seasoned well. Cooked well. Butchicken was not fresh. If I happen to be in Southington at luch at time I try to stop at the Hen House BBQ for a chicken sandwich. They are always... good. The restaurant was sold three years ago and I detect not change in the food. The prices are reasonable and the staff isfriendly. I'll be back. Read more
