I ordered a carrot cake for Easter. I am not someone who really eats carrot cake, but this cake was PHENOMENAL!! It was 4... layers, dense but supper moist. It had fresh shaved carrots and coconut in it. The icing wasn't overpowering with a creamcheese taste. I can say that this one of the best, if not the best carrot cake in the state of CT. What can I say about the most delicious chocolate cake I have ever had in my life! ???? I called and placed an order for this... birthday cake in the morning and the cake was ready for pickup that afternoon! The cake looked amazing at first glance and thetaste of this cake was hands down absolutely mouth watering delicious!!! A little bliss in every single bite!! Hector at Mix made us the BEST wedding cake. From the moment we met with him, he charmed us with his warmth, humor, and we could... tell he had complete confidence and pride in his creations. We got to taste some cakes, choose the flavors of each tier. Wechose 2 tiers vanilla cake with French creme, and one tier would be a lemon-almond cake. Both were absolutely delicious at thetasting. Here's the best part: I walked into my wedding before the guests arrive to see the room. It all looked beautiful, butthen I turned around and saw the cake! It really blew me away. It was GORGEOUS. I didn't know I could be so excited about acake. But maybe because it was my wedding, I was. I actually jumped up and down, and started asking everyone in my weddingparty, "But...Have you seen the CAKE???" Several of my guests told me that it was the best wedding cake they ever had.
