Horrible customer service. Not only did they mess up my cone, they ignored my husband who hadn?t been helped yet. The THREE... employees stood there engaging in their own conversation. We waited for FIVE minutes, and we ended up walking out. If you?regonna hire high schoolers, teach them the basics of customer service. We should have gone to Handels ice cream instead. My sister and I went to Cold Stone in Spanish Fork tonight and had an unpleasant experience, to say the least. We waited a long... time to be helped because the people behind the counter were cleaning and not helping customers. There were 5 people in linebehind us too who were waiting. The employees were very unfriendly, and the cashier was very inpatient, even though it was thecard reader that wasn?t working. She acted like I was a nuisance. Also, not that it?s that big of a deal, but I got a very smallamount of ice cream, and my sister got the same size and got a lot of ice cream (served by another employee). So I come here often and I've never had an experience like this, I ordered two simple menu items, cheesecake fantasy and the... cookie dough'tcha love it with oreo creme instead of french vanilla. Upper management is detached, unprofessional and neglectful- they care only for money and reputation (even if they claim... otherwise- actions speak louder than words). Managers are treated as dispensable when they pull most all the weight; there?s arevolving door of managers because they aren?t properly trained, supported or listened to and expected to be a manager,assistant manager, hiring manager, trainer, cake maker/decorator, day shift, everything admin and everything maintenance &cleaning (there?s a black mold issue over there and much of the equipment, like the stone, are old, in bad shape, and certainlyquestionable regarding food safety). Overall the employees are local teens who are not hard working, only care about their phone& pretend drama, and the customers are extremely entitled and impatient with stinky attitudes - chasing away managers on top ofeverything else that?s put on them leaving no consistency in the business. Prices are expensive and there?s lots of competitionaround so check out other local ice cream and sweets shops. This location probably won?t be worth it for most. Especially if youhave IBS, tummy sensitivities, or if you have a compromised immune system because honestly diarrhea might be on the menu aswell. TLDR/ PS: Just support other local businesses or buy blue bunny from the grocery store. This location is owned out ofstate and they don?t help with local events or high school sports either. The local people that are employed are lied to, used,and disposed. Buying from this business doesn?t ultimately support family friends or community of this area. Plus the productitself is very likely to be contaminated, possibly with black mold. Read more
