Very good , sports bar & grill. 2 members of our party tried the famous "Awful- Awful "" ..

Don't waste your time. Walked in with a friend. It wasn't very busy, but still, no one came to greet us. Waitresses walked by,... not making eye contact. We stood for 10 minutes before someone came to seat us. Waitress said she'd clear a table for us. 10more minutes and we're still not seated. Someone comes up and finally seats us. We sit there for another 10 minutes, and no onecomes to ask us what we want to drink, or what we're ordering. We walk out and swear to recount this experience in a reviewbecause there's no excuse for this kind of inattention. EDIT: Google won't allow me to post a response to the owner's response,so I have to edit. As per the response to my review, the time was 5:30 PM and the date was May 11. I understand the difficultiesof food service because I've worked in food service myself, but please don't let the waitresses fool you into believing that theplace was anything more than moderately busy. They collectively ignored us for 20+ minutes, walking by without even making eyecontact, even after we decided on our order and stopped looking at our menus. This is no longer High Sierra Brewing. It is now Occidental Brewing which brews pretty much only German style beer (except for... one Belgian) so if hefty beers are your thing this might not be your brewery. The Awful Awful burger (with grilled onions) wasamazing though. Would be 5 stars if it weren't attached to a truck stop casino with the only entrance being through the smokefilled casino floor. Went there for lunch, chicken tenders were excellent, service was very good. In a party of 6, everyone seemed to enjoy their... food. Not very busy, so maybe staff had time to be attentive. I definitely will go back. Read more
