We were staying at the Davenport hotel, so we decided to get takeout from Chili's. The area didn't seem that safe in the... evenings, but it could have been a rare night. My daughter and I shared Cajun Chicken Pasta and the appetizer Dip Trio that hasguacamole, salsa and queso. My mom ate Individual Chicken Fajitas with guacamole. Obviously we couldn't finish the Dip Trio,but we tried. :-) The food was good. The total with tax, not tip was $28.93. They charged .08 for a Materials Fee (not sure whatthat is). Read more
Overall good experience. Server was friendly. The food was amazing considering we were very hungry after Bloomsday 12k. But the... wait was kind of ridiculous. The place wasn't even that full. I'm assuming they were understaffed. Only reason I can't give ita perfect 5 stars. Other than that the food was good and the drinks were cold. I recommend the shrimp tacos for lunch! Read more
I loved chili's in north spokane but haven't been since they closed that location. I went to the downtown location and I'm... assuming they are understaffed. We walked in to multiple dirty tables and waited about 5 mins before being greeted/seated, nobig deal. But then we experienced horrible service as well. Our waitress never checked back in after we got our order, ourdrinks were never refilled, and I actually ended up grabbing my own to go boxes because i was tired of waiting. I saw a coupleother servers but ours jusr seemed to disappear. My corn on the cob seemed shriveled from microwaving, the tortillas for thefajitas were rock hard after 5 mins ( microwaved as well I presume). The chicken strips were tough horrible meat. My sonsgrilled cheese wasn't even crispy/ toasted, it was melted butter on bread basically so he didn't eat it. He also noticedanother kid got one properly cooked and wondered why his was messed up. One of my absolute favorite places to eat. The chips and salsa are SO good. Bottomless soup and salad for 9 or 10 bucks is a... steal! Service is usually fabulous.
