We went for live music on Friday. It was cozy and packed. We were lucky enough to snag a couple of bar stools and a third for... our friend to join us. The wine selection was extensive and after a quick taster, I selected my bottle of choice of which Iended up ordering a second. My date ordered an amber on tap and we perused the food options. The bartender/owner was sohospitable and knowledgeable and had perfect timing as he serviced the entire room. All the plated items looked wonderful...and after choosing the steak skewers and finding out they were 86'd we went with the CUBANO. OH WOW! This sandwich didn'tdisappoint. The spicy house made pickles and the slow cooked seasoned pork on a panini with arugula was palate paradise. Allthe flavors were perfectly delicious and complemented each other wonderfully. I felt as if I were in YBOR CITY in Florida at oneof the Cuban restaurants there. All that was missing was a RED STRIPE and some cigar rollers. That sandwich was truly spot on!The musician that night was a perfect selection for the intimate setting of Left Bank and he was so enjoyable to listen to.
