Stopped for coffee and a snack before work. Ended up only being able to get a black coffee with cream, she said they focus on... the breads more. Okay cool. I checked to see what kind of foods they have, and that day it was a kind of bagel, everythingscones, and I think I could have ordered a grilled cheese at that time. I went for the scone because I've never heard of it.Same things in the everything bagel are mixed into these scones. I was then on the road with my scone and coffee. Starving, Itook a nice bite out of the scone only to have it disintegrate into a flour dust in my mouth. I could bearly get it down. I'msorry about this review but I just had to let ya know. Awesome for being women owned, but yeah when she said you guys don't havecoffees because you focus on the bread more, only to have an expensive triangle of chalk in my mouth, I felt let down to saythe least. And the whole time I was discussing my order with the lady, she had this attitude that came across like I should havealready known the answers to the questions I had. What a delight to see the new location for Twenty Seventh Heaven in Downtown Spokane at 105 S Madison!! The menu continues to be... a whole lot of deliciousness! The bagels and coffee cake are our family's favorites AND never a loaf of bread made by anyoneelse can be found in our home! Being small business owners ourselves, we understand the JOYS as well as the challenges! Kudos toLydia, the owner and Mike, her staff member for bringing wholesome goodness to the area! Wait til you check out Twenty SeventhHeaven's new space on the lower level!! This new building has quite a history and hanging out to chat, browse the web, or justenjoy your favorite treat will be extra awesome down there!! We can't wait to see Lydia back up and smiling behind the counter -she just had surgery on the 14th.
