Note: We will update this review after our next visit. Convenient, affordable, local, and rustic. Barbecue, bar food, 10 or 12... rotating taps. This is a spot we visit after a long work week. A big sign announced it's under new management. Our favoritewaitress greeted us (a good sign). I asked if the food had changed and she responded she thought it was better (another goodsign). My wife and I ordered BBQ plates (2 meats/2 sides). Sides were an improvement, but the meats were disappointing. Thepulled pork was run-of-the-mill. Beef brisket was poor - tough, little bark, and tasted like someone had dumped Liquid Smoke onit. Someone needs a BBQ lesson. We're not giving up, but not the best first impression. Read more

The Stockyard is a hidden gem for this area. They have a large menu with a lot of variety, from the appetizers, all the way... through entrees and desserts. The Midnight Nachos were excellent, and the BBQ Mac n Cheese, and Fish n Chips were very good.Nice selection of beer, wine, and liquor. Friendly service, and well-decorated atmosphere/layout on the interior. Will berecommending to friends in the area, and looking forward to coming back! Nice job! Read more

We are locals only 10 minutes away gave them 4 different chances. First time we went the food was great we even told others to... go . Second time we went we both had the bbq Mac and cheese. I have no idea what happened but the pork was at least 2 weeks oldI cook on our smoker all the time and my worst pulled pork was better than theirs . On the third time just go worse 3 peopleworking the bar took 15 minutes just to get a drink with not half the place full. We also had to send our food back because itwas raw. After getting ?new? dishes that were just heated up meat did not taste right like it was rotten. Forth time got takeout and we ended up cooking a meal that night. I?m sorry I know place can have problems from time to time that?s why we gavethem four chances to make it right. Please drive somewhere else and don?t waste your money. They are very expensive and ownerDave is very rude. Read more

Used the Stockyard to make lunches this past weekend for our Retriever dog club that was doing Hunt tests nearby. Forty lunches... 2x for a total of 80 lunches at $10 each totaling $800. To say these guys ripped us off is an understatement. They appears thatthey used less $100 on product. The sandwiches had less then 3oz of meat, tomato ends that were food waist should never havebeen used in a sandwich. The brownies were cut in half, no fruit, no drink. A small bag of Lay?s potato chips were included. Afew of us with food service experience figured each meal cost under $2 to make and we were charged $10. The club was embarrassedto serve these and we will not be using this place again. We will also inform other clubs that is the same training grounds ourexperience. Read more

They used to have great food, but recently food and service not so great.. We usually order to go. Twice have showed up and our... orders hadn't actually been put into the computer yet, only another 30 min wait in a bar... No thanks! This time we ordered forpick up, pizza was burnt, and medium wings were nearly raw with no sauce on them... But don't worry, they did include the twocarrot slices! Read more
