I am rating this place a 1 star not because of the service (which was excellent) but because of the management. I come here... fairly often in the morning before I go to work and they always have full staff. But when I come in the evening they are sounderstaffed and overworked it?s embarrassing. I was in for lunch today and I watched the shift leader running back and forthtrying to keep food moving. He was talking to his crew and keeping them focused even though every single one of them wastalking about walking out. Because he was working so hard and fast I watched him go to the fryer area he picked something upand burned his wrist bad enough that I could hear him yell from the pain. He went into the back and came out 2 minutes laterwith his wrist wrapped up, and continued making food. I talked to him after and got a job application. He told me they don?thave a manager at the moment and he was in charge of the store. What I don?t understand is how you can have a leader like Ethanand not give him the manager position. Whoever is making the schedule is absolutely screwing Ethan and the other shift leaderat night because they are ALWAYS overworked and super busy but early morning they always have a lot of staff. My husband and I came through last night, the shift leader (Evan I think) was so friendly and cheerful. He took our order and... met us at the window. Even though the place was busy and he was the only one I saw up front he was in such a good mood and hewas so polite. And even though it was busy we had our food quickly. He knows what he is doing and we could hear him directingthe cooks on what was being ordered and guided them through one of our burgers that had some special requests. We have beencoming to this carls junior since we moved here about a year ago and they have really been stepping up in the last week or so.
