The best spa- the best massages the best of everything!!

5/5 for the treatment itself however the front desk receptionist was not friendly at all. With the recent storm and mudslide,... there was a possibility of our scheduled outdoor activity of being postponed. I understand that they have a 24 hour cancellationpolicy but when I walked in 30 hours prior to notify them that the activity may conflict with the time of the massage they hadno flexibility. I asked if I could call first thing the next morning (I would know by 7am) and they said no - despite themudslide. They said ?you either cancel 24 hours before, or keep the appointment and might have to pay for a service you don?tget.? I chose to reschedule and I?m glad I had the opportunity to do so. I did my first mud wrap here with Ellen and she wasINCREDIBLE. Before we got started she asked if I wanted a longer wrap or more of a hydrating oil to be applied (I chosehydration). She made sure I felt toasty but not too hot. After the wrap, I was back on the table for a hydrating oil with hotstones and she worked out all the sore muscles from hiking. EXTREMELY INTOXICATED MASSEUSE!!!!!! This was the worst massage experience I have ever had. My fiancee and I went in for a... couples massage, and my masseuse was completely drunk and or on drugs. She was stumbling around and slurring her words, at somepoint she pulled on my hair pretty hard and fell asleep on me. I have zero words for how uncomfortable I was, I will never goback!!!!!! INTOXICATED mASSAGE THERAPIST!! Had the most uncomfortable experience tonight. Booked a couples massage and our Therapist came... out to greet us very strangely and stand offish. At first we thought she was just upset with work and flustered but as we walkeddown the stairs to the room, we realized she was stumbling and clearly intoxicated which is why she wasn't making senseverbally. She yelled for the other therapist and then tried to get my fiance to go in a separate room for his massage vscouples. The other woman had her wits about her and got us in the room, but this is when things got very weird. We could tellthe sober one was trying to manage the non-sober one and she was very clearly uncomfortable. They both came back in and theintoxicated therapist proceeded to massage my fiance by pulling his hair and giving a very poor/sloppy massage. She was fallingover the table and stumbling around the room and at one point, she even fell asleep on him! The other therapist had to ask herto step out but she refused. After 10 minutes of hair pulling, she proceeded to kiss my fiance on the head and randomly walkedout. We politely asked to leave and not be charged. My therapist was very sweet and obviously mortified. The front desk staffwere kind in not charging us and tried to fit us in the next day but we were leaving. In hind sight I wish I had asked to speakto a manager just to ensure they had the full story. It was the craziest massage experience I?ve ever had.
