Small little Mexican food restaurant with a lot of character. The service was excellent and on point. We had the bottomless blue... corn chips and salsa with freshly made guacamole. I ordered the Chile Verde Tamales and they did not disappoint. The food wasamazing and had a very authentic feel and flavor. Highly recommend trying if you're a Mexican food enthusiast ? Side Note:Because of their close proximity to an elementary school hard alcohol is not served. But I tried their fresh sangria and I wasnot disappointed! Read more

We were very excited to visit Oscar's Cafe as it has a lot of positive reviews from loads of people. However, we left... disappointed. Our experience started with the line outside. It was nicely managed and we got seated very quickly. Then the waitfor the waitress began ... the host came later saying that the waitress got very busy, apologized and brought us the drinks. Thewaitress came by saying "Sorry, I didn't see you guys"??????? still not a big deal. We ordered appetizers and the wait continued... later another waiter stop by saying that he'd take our order for Kris to help out. He was great, even though we weren't histable, he refilled our drinks, brought us the salads, etc. We honestly thought that the appetizers would never come, but theydid, half of them wrong though. The food was very average. The portions were huge, but the food didn't taste like quality food.It wasn't awful though, but coupled with terrible service, it made the entire experience terrible, we were very disappointed. We had a great dinner here. Sat inside, but could have sat outside under the heaters if we wanted to. The service was great -... prompt and courteous. The food came out quickly and was very good, with sizable portions. The restaurant is slightly set backoff the road, and there is a small parking lot adjacent to the restaurant if you are driving instead of walking. Had a goodexperience and would recommend to others. We had a wonderful lunch outside under the heated porch. They offered both gluten free and dairy free vegetarian options! The... impossible burger and the fries were fantastic. The experience was made even more enjoyable by our attentive and engagingwaitress. Read more
