Went for lunch service after finishing a long hike. The food was pretty decent. The Navajo taco wasn?t exactly the greatest. The servers were nice however, they only came to the table once. We sat for around 30 minutes with empty drinks they just need to work on their lunch service.
First of all if I made a hanging garden hummus wrap I would make sure Hummus was the star. Sadly it was not, there was enough to say it was there but this is a "salad in a spinach wrap with a tzatziki/hummus dressing." Second the restaurant was disgusting the main walkway was swept but the base of all the tables looked nasty with piled up food debris and dirt around them. Tables were left un cleaned for half an hour and the service staff was almost lethargic. There was three of them for a dozen tables. Getting a refill for a beverage or an extra napkin should have been easy. My question to the manager/owner who ever reads this on Google. If you short cut sweeping and bussing tables what else is not getting the attention it should? I paid 12 dollars for a wrap I could have gotten at Subway for seven and they sweep and mop the floors! I won't be back and advise anyone reading this to eat somewhere else.
5/23/2022 3:12pm. Disappointing. Party of 4 for lunch after a long day outside. Carson greeted us warmly and was very helpful in helping us choose our meals. Not busy. 2 tables inside and 2 outside besides us. Only saw 3 staff members bringing out food and clearing tables. And then we waited, and waited. Didn't see any staff at all during this time. No one comes by to ask if we need anything. No one. After a half hour with not even getting our beverages I found Carson and asked what was up. Turns out the order never got to the kitchen due to a computer glitch. Ok it happens. Beverages arrive. Finally food shows up and not good. Grotto Chicken was dry, 3 Zion Burgers overcooked and cold. Fries cold. Tasted like it had been in the kitchen for 30 minutes. I spoke with Carson. She offered to replace the chicken with the salad bar. We just ate the burgers as we were so hungry at that point. The couple at the table next to us (who were there when we arrived) still hadn't received their food. $65 (soda water is $2.75, interesting). Next time we'll choose the snack bar or just go into town.
It's the only outlet available in the evening with limited offerings. The food is fair and the service is good.
Carefully cooked food. Very much appreciate it that they cooked for us when we arrived at 8:57pm, 3 mins before the close time. Thank you folks!
Went there for lunch after morning hikes. Mediocre food and service. Navajo taco was a mess, salmon cakes were kinda dry. Fish and chips were good though. There are definitely better options closeby in Springdale for cheaper.
Great beers and views, right at the entrance to Zion National Park.
Adequate enough food as a hot meal during a long and cold day of hiking. Not ridiculously priced, despite the remote location. We had the fish n' chips, hummus wrap, and hot cocoa. The hot cocoa was delicious. The fish and chips were surprisingly light and flaky, and not too heavily breaded or fried, and the fries were crisp. The hummus wrap was okay, but it definitely needed someore variety to the contents, as it seemed to be 90% spinach, with a smattering of chopped tomatoes, and copious amounts of hummus and feta. It could have benefited from some cucumber, or other vegetables to balance out the spinach. All-in-all, not a bad option if you're looking for a hot meal and trying to avoid the long shuttle ride into town.
