Unlike a previous reviewer's experience, mine was a fabulous first impression. Based on that review posted only one week prior... to my visit, I was worried I'd find a dirty restaurant with slow service and inattentive staff. But I found a clean restaurant,welcoming staff and immediate service. My waitress, Meredith had an excellent recommendation and seemed proud of herrestaurant's offerings. It is clear that the manager cares how her guest's experience is. Meredith brought me the managersbusiness card apologizing she wasn't able to personally greet me and get my feedback today. Where do I begin, I have been dining at this restaurant for at least 22 years and my first impression was with my wife and that... of a medium-high to high end restaurant on the West End of Springfield that had great food, service, a wonderful environment anda very clean establishment. Those days are long gone. I ate with my family there today and was thoroughly disgusted. Thefilthiness of the tables and floors as we walked into the restaurant was unbelievable. And I mean the whole of the restaurantfloors were filthy. I will not go into details, just see the pictures attached. Staff was standing around and not attempting toclean the tables or floors. There was a manager on staff and she stepped over a napkin and did not direct staff to clean up ortry to clean it herself. The chicken in my pasta was charred, dry and chewy. The same with my wife's. My daughter's meatballswere very average and weren't seasoned very well. However, the sauce on the meals was good and the pasta was cooked just right. The rest of the meals, other than the Caesar salad, was very underwhelming. I rarely beat up on restaurant staff, because Iknow they often try very hard, but this is very unacceptable for any restaurant. Especially for one that has been a staple onthe West End for many years. My family and I will not be going back! Read more
Great people but i cannot say how disappointed we were in this pie!! Literally no toppings on the House Special..no pepperoni no... onions and we cant go back becuz we're truck drivers and thought we'd treat ourselves to a pick up and had to drive 6 more hoursto our drop. BOOOOOO Read more
