What a wonderful surprise for breakfast in Springfield, IL and on Route 66. We were taken back in time at this resturant with... the decor. The service and cook teams were on point with timing and our food was delicious. On top of that, the coffee wasamazing. Classic diner with delicious breakfast options. Visited with friends from the area and sat in their favorite waitress's section.... She made several suggestions while customizing my breakfast "horse shoe" that were amazing. (Biscuit instead of toast, Americanfries on top) plus a pecan waffle and helping the keto friend in our group enjoy cottage cheese as a side to his omelette withtomatoes. Read more

Very good. I had the breakfast shoe. I had both cheese sauce and sausage gravy. Now that I have tried it, and it's good that... way. I'd probably get all sausage gravy, because I like that just a little more than cheese sauce. My wife had the "regular"pancake. Well as you can see in the pics it's huge. About 12". We walked right in and sat down Sunday morning at 8:10 We hadour food in 5 minutes! I certainly recommend eating here. ENJOY!! Read more
