Today, I called Floyd's and asked if i could get a free birthday drink and the man who answered said "Yes, why not? Come on in!"... So, i walked on over and i asked for my free drink and he refused to serve me. I give him no reason not to serve me. I waspolite and i even showed him my I.D.. So, I just left that place with no attitude. Still polite, but left. I believe he couldhave been a lil more up front or downright honest when i called on the phone before i walked all of the way over. I've neverbeen there before, and I doubt I'll ever come back. I like this place but I think it is way too dark inside. The drink selection is great. The staff is friendly and attentive. It's... just really dimly lit. I get mood lighting but this isn't mood lighting. This is more "witness protection program" lighting.Still a good place for a cold one though. Worth a stop if you are downtown. Read more
