Everything was good, beer &food! I could tell our, slightly overwhelmed, bar server was doing her best to juggle a lot going on... and needed help. team work &/or management lacking. Will definitely go back, but not on a Friday/Saturday. Read more

Our first time trying this locally owned restaurant. Our server Mitch was friendly and helpful. Our service was fast and... efficient. I ordered chicken and it was delicious. I had a great dining experience and look forward to my next visit. Read more

Visited here for first time tonight for dinner. Honestly, I felt it just wasn't impressive at all. At our table, we had people... who got pizza, a burger and mac n' cheese. The general consensus on all counts was that the food was very bland, lackedseasoning and was essentially tasteless. The service was acceptable I guess, but to me, exceptional food should be part of theoverall experience too, and it wasn't here. Even dessert....it seemed like some vanilla ice-cream with Hershey syrup poured overit, surrounded by cold marshmallows and graham crackers. Not very inspiring. :( Here's the problem...this town is full ofrestaurants, both cheap and expensive, and everything in between. It's a highly competitive scene. A restaurant really needs a'niche' to survive here. I'm not sure where this restaurant fits into the picture. There are far better places to get dinnerthan this one. Are there maybe a few good things on the menu? Perhaps. Certainly the battered mushrooms and fried pickles wereokay. But the problem is that often people gravitate back to their favorite restaurant or they will try somewhere else brand newrather than go back to a place that is so-so, for a 2nd chance. First impressions matter in a highly competitive restaurantscene. I'd love to give them another chance, but I have known favorites I think I'd rather go to, or maybe another newrestaurant I've never been to before. My advice to this restaurant....be exceptional. Your food needs to be inspiring, andsomething that people rave about as they leave. Average won't cut it, or last very long in this town. If all you get is onechance, make it count! Read more

Met some friends here for a late evening meal and had great service and really good food! We were catching up on old times and... were there thru the wait staff's switch out time and it went flawlessly. Both servers did a fine job and took great care of us.We even unknowingly were there past closing time by a few minutes and they still treated us well! Read more

We eat here several times a year. The service is always excellent, and the food is usually good. We ordered the corn fritters as... an appetizer. They were slightly overcooked but almost gummy inside. They've been better on previous visits. My wife had thegrilled cheese sandwich and an order of grilled veggies. Both were good, especially the veggies. I had the grilled pork chopswith apple bacon chutney, a side of the veggies and a baked potato. The chutney was delicious, the veggies were excellent, butthe boneless pork chops were dry; overcooked. This was not the usual overall quality we expect at Fox Run, but we'll be back. Read more
