The food is incredible. The meat was cooked to perfection and the spices were impressive. This is a great option to get away... from the standard Pub type food in the area. There are plenty of interesting alcoholic drink options. The restaurant is notcheap but you get what you pay for. I recommend looking at the menu ahead of time because it can be a bit overwhelming. Roots is hands down one of THE best places to eat in Springfield. The atmosphere, the service, and the food all deserve a higher... rating. If there was an option for a 6 star, this place would have it. The only recommendation I can give is, if you come here,order a steak option and ask for a side of chimichuri. We always had homemade empanadas and arepas. I tried these for the first time in Roots. It lived up to the hype. Excellent... atmosphere and service.
