Attended a funeral luncheon here and was shocked at how horrible everything was. When we arrived the bread baskets were on a... serving tray outside of our banquet room. We all eventually got up and grabbed our own basket... the bread wasn't even warm andwas basically a deli roll. We had to get up and go to the bar for our own drinks/coffee. The luncheon options were chickenmarsala and crab cakes. The chicken marsala came as chicken on a plate with a TINY side of vegetables; chicken was soggy/rubbery& unedible. The crabcakes didn't look much better as they weren't even browned on the outside. It was an underwhelmingexperience especially when you factor in the cost. We had Anthony?s at the Drexel Hill location but I would rate this location higher. The food and portions were very good. We had... Baked clams, eggplant parm appetizers both of which I?d get again. Veal parmigiana was very good although the penne was not Aldente. My wife had the Gnocchi Calabro which was outstanding. Sarcone seeded bread really made the grade. We sat at the bar andservice was very good, even though it was very busy. Amy and Mike did a great job with service. Had Anthony's take out on 7/8, it was awesome. My new go to take out place. Went for my 60th birthday dinner on the 14th and it... couldn't have been better. Ended up going again last night, the 21st because the power at my house went out and wanted to getout of the house until the AC came back on. It was getting a bit hot for my mom who lives with me. So of course, we went toAnthony's. Ironically we had the same server, Roma, as we did for my birthday. Again, not only was she amazing, but the food wasamazing also. Nothing better around!!! Overall a poor experience. On a night that wasn't very busy, we were sat near a rather loud party at a table that was dirty. The... menu was very limited, and the specials didn't really add anything; veal and basic seafood was abut all that was offered. Staffwas kind and helpful albeit not very attentive to us or keeping the area around us clean. Our check was over $100 for food thatreally wasn't worth it. We've had some good experiences in the past, but this time was so poor that we won't be returning. Read more

Had a wonderful time last night at Anthony?s for a family birthday dinner. We had a group of 10+ people. The restaurant put us... in a private room and provided 5 star service. Our server was so wonderful and attentive and patient. We never had an emptydrink on the table. She was so nice to us. Our food was excellent.
