4/24/2020: This place is the best. The Spaghetti and Meatball Sub is my favorite sandwich in St. Louis. The sandwich is the... perfect combination of flavorful, delicious, hearty meatballs; sweet, zesty marinara; cheese; and garlic bread. What is betterthan everyone's favorite Italian foods all in one bite? What a creative masterpiece of a sandwich! I am so glad that they wereopen 4/24/2020 during the stay-at-home because it made the week that much better. I will also say that this place has greatconsistency; the sub has been excellent each time that I have ordered it. They are very efficient, and the staff isnice. Very good sandwiches with unique takes on classic options. Pretty much everything is made in house (especially meats,... garnishes, sides, and desserts) and your meal is quickly prepared to order. Seating area is nice place to enjoy your meal. Read more
Got the Cubano sandwich. It tasted pretty good! Had a great ratio of bread to fillings, and I liked that the pickles in the... sandwich had an intense flavor to brighten up the heavier ingredients. I think they finished the sandwich on a panini press? The bread was crispy on the top and bottom and heated all the way through. It only took five minutes for me to get in and getout with a really tasty lunch. The dining area is super clean too. They have picnic tables out front if you want to enjoy theweather. My only critique is that I feel like my sandwich was slightly overpriced for the volume of food I got. I think itcame on a 8"-10" roll, and the price was $9. The ingredients are definitely vastly superior to national chain sandwich shops,so maybe that is where the value increases? Also, they have vegetarian options!!! I was on lunch break from Jury Duty and my friend mentioned giving this place a shot. Definitely was not disappointed. The... B.O.B. was very tasty. I'm also not a huge fan of horseradish, but they used the perfect amount to offset the flavors in thesandwich. If I'm in the area again, this place will definitely be on the short list of options. Went there for a pop up restaurant event for the fictional Mooby?s from Clerks 2. The staff was so friendly and the food was... absolutely awesome.
