Fantastic chicken, beautiful atmosphere and incredible customer service!
Chicken was real good. With out a doubt top 10 in the STL area easily. This place doesn't use those nasty fries that every one... is using in the area. Shrimp was well seasoned and good also. Wanted to try the Pizza Puff but didn't want all the stuff that'sin it. If it had just one topping to pick from I would have given it a try. Damn good place to eat. Read more
The Host/Cashier was dirty,nails broken,clothes dirty,the cook was constantly outside smoking cigarettes,not washing his... hands,begged for a tip,charged me $23 for half done fish full of grease batter falling off,and fully cooked cocktail shrimp hefried for 5min with the same batter falling off and full of grease as well,and sold kool-aid already in cups full of sugar,Ionly enjoyed the fries. We came here for lunch after visiting The City Museum, and absolutely loved it. It was well worth the 20-25 min wait for our... food to cook (fresh). Our party tried the chicken (dark and white), the tilapia, catfish and the polish. The favorite all aroundwas the catfish, with the chicken as a close second. The only thing that we would say could be better is the coleslaw portionsize, which was very small. Besides that, it was great and the prices seemed reasonable.
