We stumbled across Maggie O'Brien's by accident. We were seated immediately, which surprised us considering it was dinner time... on a Friday evening. The atmosphere was great, the menu was fairly extensive and the prices were very reasonable for thequality and quantity of our food. We had the Reuben bite appetizer, Shepard's Pie and Corned Beef and Cabbage, all which wereexcellent. We were both full when we left and each had enough food left over for two more dinners. Our server was top notch. She easily answered all of our questions, kept our drinks full and brought out food out in a timely manner. My only issues werethat I had a difficult time choosing which entree I wanted because so many things appealed to me ???? and the music was a littleloud. We will definitely return to try other items! I give this Restaurant a five out of five it was excellent! The service wasn't too bad it was a little busy (I Sat on the patio)... Also the St.Paddy melt is my favorite! I ordered it with crisps and Irish Whiskey sauce on the side. I recommend this place, from an Irish perspective (I'm irish) it has some traditional dishes but an American way. Read more

Maggie O'Briens is a great go-to place where service is still great and food is reasonably priced. They have meeting room for... group dining and they can accommodate groups. The bar area is popular and tvs plentiful. It is a pleasant and clean place withgood food choices. Sorry no pics from this visit...I came in hungry and dug right in without taking photos... maybe next time! Read more

The service was good. The fish and chips were not what I was expecting. The fish was in squares and breaded and came with... crinkle fries. I was expecting traditional fish and chips, the beer battered fish planks and steak fries. Read more

The Dinner I had was excellent as well as the service. Oddly enough the lack of an extra star has to do with the background... music selection and volume. Perhaps having been spoiled by visiting Raglan Road in Disney Springs, my expectations for an Irishpub background music has been raised. I just don't think country (US) music and Rap has any place in an Irish Pub after enjoyingthe experience at Raglan. Yes, perhaps I should return on Friday or Saturday for live music but the default background music atRaglan Road was pleasant and not loud to force you to effectively yell at each other to hold a conversation. Considering howmany great Celtic musicians and groups that exist, I don't understand why this isn't considered mandatory for an Irish pub.Perhaps Celtic music was tried years ago and it was discovered in order to meet the local's musical tastes and preferences andattract more customers they needed to adopt the local musical selection. Between the high volume and musical genre that I don'tfind appealing when enjoying Irish food, I would be less inclined to return. I will likely continue to explore other Irishoptions in the area to determine whether this is the normal approach in this region. That said if every Irish pub in the regiondoes this then I have no choice to ignore it and just enjoy the great food and service and compare on those two factors alone. If I had to choose between an Irish pub that embraces its heritage with background music vs one that doesn't I would take thetotal package (food, service, and music) any day or night. If Disney would just drop its prices (for everything) I might evenreturn one day to my favorite Irish pub so far: Raglan Road. Read more
