Went here for dinner for a family members birthday on 11/7/22@ 8:16pm. Food was excellent; atmosphere not so much. We had to... listen to a family next to us who had screaming kids the whole entire meal in addition to letting them run around the wholerestaurant without being disiplined. ( not the fault of the restaurant). Our server Neil R (#133) waited our table seemedquestionable, it almost was like he was high on something. He barely opened his eyes, wore his apron on his Knees and had unpleasant body odor as well as had a scruffy appearance. After we finished our meal and recieved the bill we noticed their wasa $0.50 upcharge. When asked he stated, " Thats right, we have a lettuce shortage right now, everyone who orders a salad has topay an upcharge fee". Seriously an upcharge for lettuce? I can go to Aldi and get lettuce cheaper and dont have to pay a feefor it. What adds the icing on the cake is that he neglected to tell us before we ordered salads, if I would have known this Iwould not have ordered a salad. Absolutely AMAZING food! Needed to eat after getting my hair done, found this place not far away. Nice atmosphere, food is to... die for. The Penne is good but I'm hooked on the salad you get with entrees. HIGHLY recommended. Read more
This weekend Saturday 09-17-22 at around 11:15am, my boyfriend took me here for the first time. We were both excited bc he knows... I love Italian salads and food. Upon arrival our waitress appeared a little impatient when we were deciding on what to order.She suggested to bring our sodas first. I was good with this. Then she took our order. As I was eating my salad, within a fewminutes my pizza arrived. Before I could move my salad plate, she was pushing my pizza down in front of me hitting my platewithout saying excuse me. Now I'm getting irritated. Halfway though our meal, I requested another salad. I ordered theunlimited. Her response was the manager is here, you have to clean your plate...you know we have so much waste. Then she pickedup the salad bowl and proceeded to place the remainder of the salad in a plate on our table. Now I'm livid. Not only is shetreating me like a child, but was just totally out of line. Had we not been in the middle of our meal and my boyfriend not givenme that look saying to keep my cool, I would have canceled our order, paid for the sodas and left. I was so disappointed withthe service and overall experience, I will never go here again. Before we left she did apologize and explained she was not beingrude, but wanted me to understand she didn't want to get in trouble for bringing plates back with food on them. Also they wereshort on staff. By then it was too late. She set the tone and my meal was awful bc of what I had to deal with just to get it. Ordered the Famous salad and found it to be riddled with discolored lettuce. A great deal of cores were pink and brown as well.... After talking with the manager the following day, he stated its hard to get good lettuce in and that it was a sourcing issue. Isit really though? Is it that hard to wash it before serving? Or just throw out what it coming in through your vendor like that?I said, you shouldn't be serving that to people and selling that- he said it's hard right now and we're doing our best.
