Brought my boyfriend here for our anniversary and it was amazing! The servers were really friendly and the place is really nice... inside. We got the vegetable platter to start which was amazing and big enough to be its own meal. (The word "decadent" wasused). I got the chicken tandoori half platter which was more than enough and he got the chicken tikka which definitely stolethe show. We're absolutely coming back!! Read more
Easily one of the best restaurants in St. Louis and, in my opinion, the best Indian food in St. Louis. I don?t live near them... anymore, but I will drive 20 minutes out of my way to eat here. No one does onion bhaji like they do. So addicting. Very wellpriced and very large portions, I always have leftovers. They are consistent and the service is phenomenal! Read more

Where to start? Impressive, astounded and truly pleased. Absolutely freaking phenomenal and awesome. For the appetizer I had the... Vindaloo- which totally made a great first impression towards an upcoming meal. I had the chicken Tikka Masala, which was thebest ever and so tasty. Then dessert was the Rasgulla. Dessert was the absolute best way to finish this unique authentic lunch.Also the server was phenomenal, friendly, welcoming. The environment was really clean and atmosphere was legitimatelywelcoming. I have been eating in Indian restaurants, here and in the UK, for more than 40 years. This WAS the best in Saint Louis. However,... last night was a less than stellar experience. My husband and I were there and the staff deferred to him all the time, even tothe point of asking for his order first. My husband corrected that and motioned to me. I asked for a Madras and was asked howspicy. The server was trying to get me to order it relatively mild but since I like my food spicy, I said no. It was mild andhad little flavor so I?m assuming he ordered it to his idea of what I wanted. The fact that I didn?t recognize any of the staff,along with the experience we had, made me wonder if the restaurant had changed hands. Maybe this was just their ?b team?.
