Ganong's chocolates and candy have been a Maritime standard all my life. I try to always stop here when making my way back to... Toronto. Firstly, the staff are very friendly and helpful, and know their product. The store is clean, modern and easy tonavigate. A large variety of chocolate and candy is packaged in attractive "gift" packs. Frankly, it is too hot on a motorcycleto transport chocolate but Ganong has several other non chocolate options. Sorry, non Maritimers, but if you don't know whatchicken bones are you are missing out on a unique regional treat. I never leave without them. Lots of parking and I never passby the store without stopping. A piece of Canadian history and a delightful visit. After all, we are all kids in a candyfactory. Read more
