I was a Halal Guys fan for years until I discovered Shah?s. I was driving to Yonkers and I was wondering if there?s something... close to Stamford. Shah?s surpassed all my expectations. Great food! Awesome service! Had an issue with online ordering but owner and manager made it right and was extremely attentive... and helpful! ALL business owners should take lessons from these guys. Ordered a lamb platter with salad only. I used to dine at NYC carts so I have some expectation. Like other reviewer said: almost... everything is sub par. I think I know why. Some spices are missing in the rice. White sauce did taste like ranch dressing. Idon?t even want to add some salad that looked soggy and not sanitary enough. It still has the taste, just not as much. Iunderstand it is a chain restaurant now, and they are trying to standardize lots of things, but sacrifice genuine taste shouldnot be one of it, or their business won?t go long. Read more
