To start with the food was so nasty I couldn’t believe it. The gumbo has tomato’s in it. No flavor what so ever. The boudin... balls had celery in them..who does that.I’m from Texas grow up hour from Louisiana this is not real Cajun food!! I’ll neverbe back wasted $60 ! Read more
The boiled shrimp are the real deal from the Gulf and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is reminiscent of the French Quarter, a... slice of New Orleans right here in Starkville. I’ll definitely return to try the fried catfish and gumbo. Read more
Easily the worst food I’ve had in this town. Not even trying to be rude. The nachos were cold. “Creole” sauce was non... existent. As a Louisiana native I am embarrassed they call this Cajun food. The Mac and cheese which I ordered with sausage inhopes it could make up for the lackluster nachos. Boy was I wrong, they were worse! Kraft in the box taste better. To cap thingsoff they had a special on $2 mimosas and they should’ve called it OJ with a SPLASH of fizz they were very disappointing to saythe least. Seems as they are wanting to be more of a bar. This used to be a go to place when in starkville for us. Food was descent, but... its the small things. Shouldn’t have to ask for water or napkins, especially when eating shrimp. Menu options aren’t whatthey ised to be. Service was ok , and they weren’t terribly busy. Read more
