Stay away from the smoked chicken. I got the smoked half chicken with turnip greens and baked beans. The chicken was extremely... small and looked more like a pigeon or wren, and it was dried out to the point of being virtually inedible. While the bakedbeans were good, the turnip greens had no salt or seasoning. While I plan to try some of the other menu items as they looktasty, I do not understand the hype about Little Dooey. Great food and atmosphere. One of the best bbq places I've been. Brisket was very tender.
The food was decent. I have had better bbq at other places. Catfish was the best thing I had. They need to get their drinks... fixed though. They were out of many of the sodas. The sweet tea was not sweet at all. The service was good. The bbq nachos weregood and the menu was great. Read more
Good service but food was not that good. I had the rib tips and baked beans. The beans were too thick and the rib tips were too... burnt. I also didn?t like the bbq sauce. The price of the food wasn?t bad at all though ???? I will try again in future. Read more
