Caroline was a perfect server! The food needs improvement for sure but we had a great time and the atmosphere was lovely. The... best we could find around State College! The best thing we had here was the Blood Orange Sorbet for dessert at the end ofbrunch… ???? Read more
Gigi's is a great dining experience with an extensive menu of small plates and entrees. The atmosphere is a comfortably... eclectic mix of styles that works to create a casual but upscale environment. That makes it all the better a place to enjoy somedelicious and well-presented food dishes. A wide selection of wines & beers is also available. Service was very attentive andfriendly. So this was our first time here....the atmosphere is 5 stars great space comfortable vibrant. Service was 4/5 the food however... is 3/5 I had the chipotle deviled eggs and Gigi burger with their house made chips....burger it was good but seemed like the bunwas not toasted or grilled ...which made for a soggy burger also the hun was sweet.....the chips were too overcooked.....couldtaste the burntness....deviled eggs were good I liked them my wife had the green tomatoes bruschetta ( there is no bread ) it isbruschetta on a fried green tomato didn't know it until recieved it was really good but tomato wasn't breaded thick enough andwas flimsy.....she also had the spicy shrimp and grits it was a lil bland and came with 5 shrimp my nephew got the shrimp andgritsoff kids menu and recieved 3 shrimp....my wife's meal costed double what my nephews costed hers had 5 shrimp his was 3shrimp so don't know why you are charged double for two extra prices of shrimp.....am willing to try this place again...... Had a great dinner at GiGi’s. This was my first time dining at GiGi’s and I was very impressed with the upscale feel and... ambiance of the restaurant. Our server was absolutely wonderful and attentive and answered all of our questions. The carbonara,steak and biscuits we had were all excellent. The only thing that I thought was a little bland was the Pork Chop. I willdefinitely be back! Read more

This place to me seems like a hidden gem. The food was so excellent and fresh and hot. I had the Shrimp Carbonara and it was... really done nicely with sausage instead of bacon with peas with just a nice cheese flavored sauce. My son loved the CajunChicken and his mother had the Ahi Tacos. We had French onion soup and they have a really special Gumbo that was just sorefreshing. They have outside dining, a bar inside, in addition to fancy inside dining on nice padded chairs that were like homefurniture. The staff were so friendly too.
