Started with the taboule salad and it was very good. They brought over a whole pide bread which was fresh and delicious. We... ordered the Chicken Adana and Lamb Shish Kebab. Yes this is the same Sahara from Brooklyn and they make the fresh bread! We ordered the falafel's, hummus, chicken kebab... platter and the one in the picture is the Yogurt Chicken Adana Kebab. We had the Baklava for dessert and everything was sodelicious! We can't wait to go back lol. The staff was friendly and nice to us. We have been to several other Mediterranean restaurants in Staten Island. But wanted to try this for a change. We stepped in... around 6.30 pm when there were a few customers: nice ambience and warm and clean tables. Having placed the order had to wait 45minutes to get our food on the table! Well, it was too long. This delay compelled me to give four stars instead of 5!!! The foodwas ok and more towards the expensive side. The slim white haired young waitress needs to be more welcoming towards customers. Read more
