I took my family there and we all ordered fried chicken. it came to us rock hard and dark in color. the taste had a burnt... taste. I complained to our waitress and she had to literally call the manager on the phone to see what to do. there was nomanager I could talk to or show our food to. we ate none of the food and was still charged for it. They made us pay for halfeven though we didn't eat only a bite out of it. I have pictures to back up my story too. Horrible place that did not try tomake things right!!! I can't thank Beth and crew enough for a delicious brunch this morning, came back after trying the delicious horseshoe to try... the fried chicken and let me tell you, one of the most delicious fried chicken I ever had. Located in Staunton IL, this quaint little restaurant was really good. The restaurant was well kept and the staff was friendly.... They have a full service bar area, and plenty of seating. Its the type of place where people will remember you by name when youvisit. Prices were reasonably priced and the food was tasty. Our order was correct and accurate. Lots of options other than "Doyou want fries with that.." As you can see by the photo I got a baked potato with my buffalo chicken wrap. Would definitelyvisit them again. Read more

Having eaten there twice I will say that the food is good due to stepping shortages in the kitchen, I am told it takes quite a... while to get even the simplest meal. The clam chowder is quite good in case you want something quicker. Read more
