As I venture out more, restaurants similar to this one gives me more clarity. Or perhaps that's the smoky maple old fashion... cocktail talking. What started out as a 50 restaurant tour has morphed into a life long pursuit of culinary excellence.Restaurant number 58 does not under deliver. Curb appeal and decor was average but I enjoyed the ambiance. I had the elkshepherd's pie was tasty but I like my meat more gamy. I really like their take on a southern classic fish and grits. However, the star of my experience there was the tandoori spiced yellow fin tuna. In my humble opinion, it was worthy of a Michelin star.I will definitely be back and am looking forward to the next palate exploration. This place should definitely be on your to dolist. My boyfriend and I stopped here after a hike in the area, and soooo happy we did. We tried almost all of the happy hour tapas.... They were all amazing, but my surprising favorite was the brie mango filo cups. For dinner, we ordered 2 dipping entrees, andthose were also amazing!! Had a wonderful supper after doing the escape room next door. Don't be turned off by the high prices, the food is superbly made... and the plates are full. Absolutely justified. Only thing I would have changed would be to have a bit of honey butter as anoption for the fresh bread platter appetizer in addition to the garlic butter. Read more
