We recently moved to Stephens City and wanted to try the local pizza joints instead of ordering from a national chain. We... ordered a steak sub and a pepperoni pizza. We picked it up because we were out running errands and took it home. The foodquality was really good and the food was very tasty. The prices are very fair. Give them a try, we will be back again. Wow, am I glad I took a chance with a delivery order from Sal and Gino's. The prices are great, the food tastes great, the... delivery was fast, the food was hot. I had a hankering for a pizza but when I saw the full menu I went with a cheesesteaksandwich instead, which was excellent. I particularly like their seasoned fries. Sal and Ginos will be my #1 go-to from nowon! UPDATE: Ordered a large pizza and soda yesterday. By the time it was a half hour later than the depicted delivery, andafter numerous unanswered phone calls, I canceled the payment through my bank. Sent an email to corporate. But this morning Isee the money was taken from my account and I never did get my food. I won't be ordering from here again. Read more
Thought I would try this place for pizza delivery- sadly, my first experience will be my last! I?m a vegetarian, ordered cheese... pizza with pineapple and received a barely warm pepperoni pizza- wait time was twice as long as anticipated ETA by the orderplacement site- this is the first time I have ever posted a negative review of any food service - maybe it will help others inthe future if improvements are made with regard to attention to detail and a much, much more timely delivery! The New York style pizza was near perfect. Perfect sauce to cheez ratio, the crust was crunchy on the outside and soft on the... inside, with the large pizza, the slices were big and had some weight to them but it holds up nice when its folded. You can'teat New York style without folding the slice, you just cant. For desert, the cinnamon bites are incredible, warm and softpillows of delicious dough topped with the perfect amount of cinnamon and sugar. The fries are ok, a little soft for me with notmuch flavor. But you come here for the amazing authentic pizza and this is one of my new favorite pizza spots.
