Delicious dinner. Husband had dbl cheeseburger and fries; I had the Pattie melt with onion rings. That was one of the juiciest... burgers that I've ever had! All were cooked perfectly. Prices were reasonable. Service was fast, friendly, & efficient! Read more

In all honesty, if you're not from this small town... keep driving. My family & I were just passing through & stopped to eat. We... were so uncomfortable as we were stared down by customers from the second we parked ro the moment we left. And even a waitresswho was rolling up the silverware stared us down & even watched us walk & sit at the table. I get the small town thing butwouldn't you want people to stop & spend their money here? We ordered a variety of food for 9 & the fries portion was reallysmall. Some items were missing toppings but the one waitress we had just came back with it on the side & made it right. If itwasn't for her we would have just walked out with how uncomfortable this experience was. Read more

The Village Inn was like a moment back to the 80's. A comfort choice for sure. As I walked in I noticed a few customers enjoying... their meals. Looking around as I was seated, I noticed the old style seating, bench tables and the glass display case full ofa variety of delicious pies. So yummy! ???? The menu is simple and both sided laminated in a hard plastic and kinda sticky. Thewaitress was delightful and charming taking my order promptly. I ordered the Double Decker Club sandwich with a cup of TomatoBasil soup. In my mind I pictured, thick sliced bread with mounds of meat, bacon and tomatoes with thick mayo. ???? When thewaitress brought my food over I was so excited to see what I was going to be eating. Closer and closer as the waitress walkedtowards me, she sat down a plate with a sandwhich on it and my mind went WHAT? Not what I wanted to see but I ate it. It wasbetter then what I though it would be. ???? The cup of soup came out on 2 plates in a small cup with a pack of crackers. Thesoup was good but did have a high tomato paste flavor. As I ate more I could taste the basil and by then the soup wasgone. The prices for the meals were great as the food reflected the prices. I did notices that they do a great deal of takeoutorders. Great place for quick comfort foods and affordable prices. Read more
