Very friendly staff as the best available vegetarian options around this area. I wish they made better chutneys. But that's the... story with all Indian restaurants in the USA. They make terrible chutneys compared to what you get in India. Read more
The sambar is very yummy and the food is good. Not much crowded. Ven Pongal is not that great.
It's a decent place. Quality of food is a hit or miss. It has been exceptional sometimes & worse sometimes The restaurant owner... should maintain quality, speed of service (orders take lot of time to process) & AC during summer & winter. It's hard finding great Indian food, but this restaurant had it!! I had the Paneer Butter Masala and it was magnificent! My... husband had the Mango Lassi and it was delicious as well (I forgot what he had for an entree, but he really liked it too). Inormally don't like spicy food (I told them I wanted something really mild) so they brought a small little cup for me to tastethe Masala first (I did not request it, they just brought it which was really nice!) If it was mild enough for me, you won'thave a problem with the food if you really don't like anything spicy. The service was great, and the food came out quick.
