Nice food, friendly service. We visited Scuttlebutt the very first time Saturday Nov 5th, 2022 We had heard good things from... people who live in the region. We ordered the Shrimp Diablo pasta, and the Chicken Parm. both were very tasty, well cooked, with good portions. Our friends ordered a salad And a reuben sandwich. When we were there - there must have been a staffingissue, as we had to wait a long time for service. It seemed this was a real concern. However, we did not complain or expressconcern. We understand how restaurants are experiencing challenges post pandemic. other people complained a lot - one personeven created a huge stink when their order wasn't ready for pick up and stormed out without paying. This is not acceptablebehaviour. The food was good. and the server was very friendly. there is a small covered patio - as well as indoor dining. Read more

Truly awful service and food. Waitress was fine but we waited 45-50 minutes for one cup of soup and a bacon and cheese sandwich.... There were maybe three other tables in there...not busy. The beef soup was disgusting...just big chunks of potato, two tinymorsels of shredded beef that I actually had to search for and one slice of carrot. The sandwich was burned and greasy. Thecoffee was common awful diner coffee. The place is also very cramped for those of you concerned about sitting close to strangersthese days. I would never go back nor recommend this place to anyone! Thank goodness we didn't waste our money on dinner. Read more

What an awesome little spot. Food was fantastic. Only reason for only 4 stars, our server never brought us our second round of... drinks when we ordered them. Definitely will be back! Read more

Upon arrival, the restaurant was not very busy. It was almost 10:30 am on a Sunday morning and we were ordering breakfast. ... There were tables available both inside and on the patio, which is where we chose to sit. We ordered our drinks, and did notreceive the orange juice ordered. Our meals were 45 minutes wait. The food was ok. Our waitress (an older lady) took a breakwhile we were waiting for our food. She didn't communicate to us at all during the wait. We asked another waitress for arefill of hot water in our tea pot. She took it inside and never returned with it. At a table next to us, a coffee wasspilled. It was all over the elderly lady as well as all over the table. We offered our napkins for them to clean up thespill. When the patron told our waitress of the spill, she asked the waitress to bring us more napkins. She did, however, shedidn't sympathize with the woman who's clothes were coffee stained, and didn't offer to bring a cloth to wipe the table. Definitely not an efficient or attentive waitress. We mentioned that we hadn't received our orange juice, and wanted to makesure it wasn't on our bill. There was not apology. She actually asked if we would like it. Seriously, we had been there anhour, eaten our food, and were paying the bill. I don't think we would want to sit down and drink an orange juice at thatpoint. Even though it was not busy, the waitress rushed indoors as soon as the debit payment for our breakfast showed it wentthrough. She didn't ask if I wanted a copy of the bill, or anything. Very disappointing experience for the three of us. Wewill not be returning. Read more
