Great wine, nice place to hang out with friends. We love sweet wines and they had plenty. They also had plenty of semi sweet and... dry. We will be back. Did a tasting, then bought a bottle and played cards inside. There was music and places to sit outside Read more
Amazing time, amazing wine! Wonderful and knowledgeable service. I only drank the dry wines, which were spectacular, but there... was a huge selection of sweet and semi sweet as well. Allegro is a hidden gem about an hour and a half from DC that my sister and I stumbled upon a few years ago and immediately... became members of. The quality of the wine is significantly better than the vast majority of the more well-known Virginiawineries and at a fraction of the cost. There is literally nothing that winemaker Carl, can't do and do exceptionally well. Thestaff is delightful, the ambiance is welcoming and unpretentious, and it's all around a wonderful place. We stopped by to taste and ended up taking a flight home to try. Loved all 4 sample bottles and will stopping by again to pick... up full bottles in the near future. Pamela was so helpful and kind and personable. We sampled at 3 wineries and this was ourfavorite wine! Read more
