I?ve given this place a few chances in my 3 years in Stillwater but I?ve come to the conclusion that it is decisively just not... good. No complaints about the ambience or the service, those are fine. The food is poor quality and tastes quite bad. Thechicken used in their dishes has a distinct flavor and texture that reminds me of precooked frozen chicken. Really, this isawful quality Italian food and this restaurant would not last a month in any major city with actual competition. Even for asmall town Italian restaurant this is bad food and it?s a mystery to me why people rate it so high. Read more
The dinner I had here was pretty underwhelming. The server did not seem like he wanted to be at work and barely spoke to us.... However, the garlic knots and mozzarella sticks were delicious. I ordered the lobster ravioli which was served to me cold. Therewas only three pieces on the plate so I was still pretty hungry when we left. The interior of this restaurant needs some work,things don?t all fit together. As some one who?s been to Italy several times, the food and service just was not authentic. Truly an amazing dining experience. The food was incredible, the atmosphere is relaxing, the service was perfect, and they have... very reasonable prices. I went during lunch hours and was surprised at the quality that I got for how fast it was. I will 100%be coming back again and again.
