We at here for my boyfriends 20th birthday! The service was amazing, yet a little too preppy and serious at times. I like to... bond and chit chat with the servers, but oh well. They also need music in there, it’s a little too quiet and we felt like wehad to hush our voices. We shared the charcuterie board which was presented beautifully! Then I had the filet and he had thesirloin, both were cooked perfectly. And for desert we shared the bread pudding which had been DRENCHED in alcohol. It was soyummy! The food was amazing, we left sooooo full!! Read more

Was Excited to Experience the Fine Dinning in a Traditional setting. Student Run the whole operation. Lovely Dining Rooms. Nice... Menu. Full Bar, Fabulous Wine Selection. We were first service for The Evening. Service was par. Not quite what I'm use to forFine Dinning. The Rib Eye Steak was prepared to perfection. The Loaded potato was hot creamy and Delicious. The Shrimp was wellcooked not rubber. And the Garlic compound butter was a nice treat to the fresh baked bread. Make early reservations placefills fast. Definitely a wonderful place. Read more

I have not dined here, but the owners came to my restaurant. If The Ranchers Club is any reflection of them, I look forward to... dining there. They were friendly, fun, and just down right "real" people. We talked about food, wine, and business. Awesomepeople, would love to take care of them again, and looking forward to dining in their restaurant in the near future. Read more

I was very disappointed with my meal at the Ranchers Club in Stillwater, Oklahoma. The thing is, I have not been to the Ranchers... Club in about ten years so I remember what the Ranchers Club used to be like. Believe it or no, ten years ago the Ranchers Clubwas an exclusive high end Steakhouse. You paid top dollar, but you got top grade steaks. The Ranchers Club ten years ago was onpar with Mahogany Steakhouse in Tulsa or the Ranch Steakhouse in Oklahoma City. Ten years ago, The Ranchers Club was only openFridays and Saturdays, they were only open evenings and they were not very crowded. The last time I went there were only be oneor two tables filled. So this is the first time I've been in the Racnher Club in 10 years and I was very disappointed. I was inStillwater for a few hours and thought I would give myself a treat by going to The Ranchers Club. Boy was I disappointed.Apparently they are under new management or a new management philosphy and they have totally changed the way they dobusiness. I went at 1pm in the afternoon on a Thursday and the restaurant was almost full. The service was still terrific. Butthe food was really not up to par. The grilled shrimp they bought me was too raw. It had not been cooked properly and I didn'teat it at all. The Ribeye steak they brought me was an awful cut of meat, full of fat and gristle. I probably should have sentit back. Apparently what the new management has done at the Ranchers Club since I was last there 10 years ago is lower theirstandards and lower their costs to increase their mass appeal. And their strategy is working. They have a lot more people thereand they are probably making a lot more money but it is no longer high end and no longer a treat to eat there. I won't be goingback anytime soon. By the way, I am leaving a one star review to get your attention. Whenever I write a review for Google Guidesor Amazon I like to leave a one star review so others will see and be forwarned. It really wasn't Read more

Being nice, funny, apologetic and offering a free sampling of dessert really doesn't change the fact that we paid well over $450... for my mother's 70th birthday dinner where each part of the meal came out cold and several dishes had to be sent back. Not tomention, we were there for almost 3 hours and the service was incredibly slow. We are not "those people" who make somethingwrong when it isn't at a dinner. But this was one for the books. The bread came out cold in the middle, the steaks came outunder cooked, the gravy on the chicken fried steak was cold, and none of us really got to eat our dinners together becausethings kept having to go back and be reheated or fixed. Drinks were forgotten. It was just a total mess! We came all the wayfrom Kansas City, Dallas, and Manhattan, KS to surprise my mom for her 70th and we had a better meal at the sports bar than wedid at this "fine dining" establishment. To top off the night they handed my mom a "special" card for her bday that the wholestaff signed "just for her," but it was a pre-signed Anniversary Card wishing "many more years" I mean, I can't make this stuffup. The staff was very kind and apologetic, but I have to be honest, I don't feel we should ever have had to pay for thisdinner. Free dessert doesn't really make up for an entire night of mistakes. It's a good thing we have a sense of humor, butthis was top 5 of weirdest and most disappointing dinners I've had in general. Read more
