Enjoyed a lovely, casual lunch here. The French onion soup is fantastic. Great selection of sandwiches and burgers for lunch.

We were last here a year ago. I guess due to covid, their menu changed, no steaks, etc. We didn?t even stay. If I wanted chicken... fingers, I wouldn?t go to The Widows. We decided to try it again. There?s so much not being run properly, it?s sad. This is notThe Widows anymore. They had plastic table cloths, plastic flowers and plastic straws. Paper napkins. If you?ve ever eaten herein the past, you know this was not usual for finer dining. For the prices, you don?t use PLASTIC. We waited more than 10 minutesbefore the hostess asked if our wait person was here. He was not. She took our drink order. Our waiter finally brought us ourdrinks and we were ready to order. We ordered. Then the waiter returned telling my husband that he needed to order a differententree because they were out of scallops. My husband ordered clams with linguini. He apologized and said he accidentally punchedin the wrong number. Our salads came. I ordered balsamic vinegar and oil. He brought red wine vinegar and asked if that was ok.I asked if he had balsamic and he said yes. Sooooo, ok, he brings the balsamic. Which then sat on my table the rest of thenight. Our entrees came. I ordered a medium rare steak. It came out black on one side, no steak knife and I wanted a butterbaked potato. No butter. Just a potato. Got ahold of him, again. Brings my stuff. There were a lot of servers along with thewait staff. Watching the other tables, the wait staff is young, needs more training. As does some of the wait staff. Iunderstand it?s hard getting help these days, but for the prices here, more training, more training, more training. We waitforever for the check. Bye bye Widows. It was nice, once. Read more

Was not great, prices have gone up significantly but the quality does not reflect the price. The burger was previously frozen... and did not come with lettuce and tomato was served plain with pieces of bacon hidden under cheese. Bar was full restaurant wasnot. One person bathroom weirdly right behind the hostess. Waitress always seemed overly rushed Read more
