This was my first time in Cape May and I will surely be coming back for this restaurant alone!! Firstly, the service was... incredible. The staff is incredibly kind, welcoming, and efficient. Our food came out relatively quick and was delicious. Beingfrom New York, sushi is something I eat weekly so I consider myself a pretty good sushi critic. Water Lily is hands down one ofthe best, most authentic sushi places I have ever had the pleasure of dining at. The sunshine roll is a MUST if you love salmonand their dragon roll is phenomenal. Not half bad for a cute small-ish stone harbor haunt. Nothing to write home about but it?s safe and accessible in a place where... you might not otherwise be able to find this type of cuisine. Menu stand outs will be of course the sushi and Teriyaki. Sashimiand sushi combos of course always a hit. The ?sushi sandwich? on the board outside is definitely a bit gimmicky. ?Surprisinglygood for a place that is itself out of its element?; said another diner. At least it?s near the ocean. Went there one day just to try it out, and i was so upset i hadn?t visited sooner. The food is AMAZING. Had to get it twice two... days in a row. The fried pork dumplings are so delicious. I got the shrimp tempura rolls too and they were well worth the 10dollars. Will definitely be coming back more often. Read more
Had a great dinner. The view is fantastic and the food was delicious. Service was good. The prices seemed appropriate for a... resort town. However, we had a vegetarian in our party. An avocado roll was $8. $8 dollars???? There is never an excuse tocharge $8 for an avocado roll. Read more
