I had been meaning to go to The Stones much sooner but life is busy with 2 boys that play 2 and 4 sports. My 10 year old and I... went in on Thursday 10/20 with some friends and their kids for the first time. Our friends were all regulars and theyrecommended certain dishes that they have tried and liked. I had eaten dinner already so I decided to get a dessert and boy am Iglad I did. We have all had a cookie skillet with vanilla ice cream but this was one of the best I've ever had. The chocolatechip cookie had the consistency of a light brownie almost and the ice cream was delicious. My son got the chicken wings andfries and he said the wings were the second best he's ever had, and he gets them everywhere. I tried 2 of his wings and canconcur. The batter is delicious and as my buddy JB pointed out, the batter was a light color so you know the oil is changedoften. The owner came over to check on us and I was able to meet him. He was a very pleasant Irishman and made us all feelwelcome. It felt like a family atmosphere where they care about their regulars. Everything was top notch and I plan to becomea regular, but I'll start by taking my wife to dinner there soon. Read more

Fries as an appetizer was great. I got the Pork and Poblano hash- it was very good except I felt like it needed more pepper and... a dash of salt… the fries on it were a bit soggy when they came out. My girlfriend got the native mixed green salad, and thatwas meh. On the menu it doesn’t specify if it comes with romaine lettuce or arugula. Her salad was also missing vinaigrettedressing- we asked for dressing and instead got olive oil. So all in all I give it 3 stars- things to improve on: 1. Be morespecific with the food descriptions on the menu. 2. More seasoning on certain foods 3. Check on your table slightly more often. Read more

Food was very good, especially the hand cut fries. Atmosphere could be a little more dim for dinner. Drinks were good as well.

One star not for food but for reservation system. Made a same day online reservation specifically for outdoor dining (not... because of COVID but because it was a nice day for dining outside) and got to the restaurant and was told there was only seatingavailable indoors because a large party had reserved the entire terrace. To be fair I had a missed call 45 minutes before thereservation time but no message was left. Disappointed and we will likely try again but will not rely on booking online. Read more

Pros-the drinks were done well. We ordered 2 martinis and both were quite strong and tasty. The waitress was also very... nice. Cons - food took an extremely long time to come out, and it wasn't very busy when we ordered. Everything we ordered lackedflavor. Their hand cut fries had very little salt on them, and were brown to the point of almost being burnt. I ordered the porksandwich, and it tasted like nothing, and had wayyyyy too much cheese on it. The beet and pear salad was well dressed, butreally had very little flavor. I personally wouldn't be back again for the food, maybe for a drink or two, but that's it. Read more
