Jack Astors is a fun place here at eastgate square. Our server Taylor was fantastic and paid attention to detail. She checked up... on us often. The burgers are where it’s at with this place. They are cooked good and the toppings are well placed. Sides arefine as well. There are a few opportunities. The fries on the menu say gluten free but they are not. The website says that aswell. They need to update themselves with this as it can be quite a bad experience for someone to accidentally digestgluten. The nachos are fantastic and gluten free (I hope as per the menu). I use to go all the time. Now I won’t ever return. The last few times the chefs they have are horrible. Last time we went in... and ate the steak was like roast beef. Didn’t even finish payed and left. Today I ordered two pastas to pick up. Bothundercooked and barely any sauce. I also ordered the seafood pasta what a joke 3 shrimp pieces and two tiny little scallops.Definitely not worth the money and the quality is disgusting. Won’t ever return. Read more
Came in from the rain, not really busy, it was after 9:00pm We waited too long to be acknowledged by staff, sat down in the bar... area & waited. One of the servers finally came by & was super friendly and accommodating. She set us up & got our drink orderfor the bartender. The bartender was friendly and took our order. Food was appetizers and came out reasonably well. Calamari wasdelicious. Later in the evening, you need more attention on the front door. The restaurant was not busy, no manager in site? Thestaff that we interacted with were awesome. More gluten free options would be fantastic.
