Visited here yesterday before departing from our 4 day stay in Stowe. If I were to rate only on the food, I would give 4 stars,... but the lack of "service", attitude of staff, and price drags this rating down to a 3 star, and that's being generous. The foodwas "good" but that's about it. Nothing about the pancakes, french toast, and bacon was awe inspiring. Basically, could havegotten the same food at any given roadside diner. We were met with an instruction board as we entered: 1. Sanitize yourhands. (okay, understandable in todays day and age) 2. No menu's, you must scan QR code on table (bad choice. QR/Online menusare a pain in the butt! Sure it saves paper and printing but makes it tough to browse a menu when you have to keep expandingand closing every menu item) 3. Place order at the register. (okay, this is where the lack of (and simply poor) service comesinto play. The young lady at the counter made us feel like she would rather be anywhere else on earth but behind that counter. No smile, no welcoming conversation, no Thank You, etc. we were left feeling like we were interfering in her life. Either badtraining or just bad attitude. 4. Bus you own table! When you're done, collect all your dishes and bring them to the bins inthe back of the dining room. Okay, so it's a way to do a business without hiring any wait staff. BUT... (there's always aBut!)... if you aren't going to offer service in your restaurant then please don't make your electronic register default tosuggest adding a 20% tip to the already overpriced bill!!! And, just to add insult, they actually also added a tip jar to thecounter. Overall, it was breakfast, and we weren't hungry when we hit the road. But for sure, we're not likely to return herethe next time we visit Stowe. Read more

Quaint little place . Food was good .we were a group of six. Service was fairly quick also. ( love when that happens) Gazpacho... soup was a little disappointing. It was more like a salsa . But i would definitely go back next time in area.! Read more

Stop here if you?re in Stowe and you want a deli sandwich. BLAT wrap was perfect. My wife had the bird and berry Turkey sandwich... and she loved it. Potato salad as a side reminded me of my grandma?s- as good as it gets. Great place! Read more

Food is good. Fresh ingredients. But be ready to wait a very very long time for food. Day I came, 6 people on staff. Not super... busy, a few empty seats. Easily enough staff to handle demand in a well run shop. Took 45 minutes to prepare couple wraps. Restof my order was pre prepared stuff they just had to gather Truly incredible. Fortunately I had time Read more
