I had such an amazing experience here this week! The food was incredible, one of the best meals I have ever had, and the staff were lovely and attentive - they made me feel very special for my Birthday. Can't wait to come back!
Delicious food, nice ambiance and very friendly staff! The head chef even checked on us and had a chat about our dishes. I would highly recommend the Bijou for a great dinner out after or before a show!
Went to the Bijou in mid-May and by chance found it was open, but luckily they had space for us. My husband and I had a fantastic meal. The hummus with pistachio dukkah was amazing as was the rest of the meal. Great service. Better than some 5-star restaurants that I have been to in Toronto! I would be interested in taking some classes if their chef ever has a cooking night.
Your better off to go to A&W or a good old mom and pop type style restaurant. Won't go home hungry that way. I ordered the chicken. A chicken wing had more meat on it. Had to search for it under the greens it came with. Think it was appx $23.00. 23 cents worth of meat would be pushing it. Wife ordered the steak. Three small pieces was enough for her. Will never recommended this restaurant. Went one of the local pubs and finished off with dessert and coffee.
I had a wonderful dinner with family at the Bijou this past weekend. The food is fantastic with layers of flavours and textures in each dish. Ambiance is great and it also feels very Covid safe. Highly recommend for a special night out!
The duck confit was amazing! Very flavourful and tender - cooked and seasoned perfectly. And the staff was so kind, friendly and gracious. Thomas and Sam made us feel very welcome, and gave great recommendations for the meal. We'll definitely be coming back again.
Had a incredible experience here tonight. The duck confit is outstanding- I don't have words to describe how great it was. Service was also very friendly and caring. Made for an amazing date night after a good show at the festival. We'll definitely be back- and next time we're both ordering the duck.
My husband and I had the pleasure of dining at Bijou Restaurant in Stratford and it was fantastic. Our server Adele provided us with great service - perfect food recommendations and wine suggestions. I even had my first Caesar made with tequila which Adele promised I would love - and she was right. We started with the French onion soup which was delicious; my husband then had the duck confit which he was blown away by and I had the beef cheeks which was decadent and filling! My husband accidentally left his reading glasses behind - Sam the bartender dropped them off at the Parlour Inn where we were staying. Great customer service!! Thank you Adele, Sam and Bijou?s chef for making our evening so enjoyable!!
